Day 36: Housekeeping on the eve of Renske’s arrival (07/07/12)

This was going to be another day of getting our house-on-wheels in order.
Our new side awning screen

Renske was going to arrive on Sunday, so we needed to shampoo the carpets, paint the walls, mow the lawn, hide the dirty socks and underwear, spruce up the guest suite, restock the larder etc. etc. This took up a lot of time and energy, leaving little time for blog-worthy events.
All we could manage was a little expedition to the Crystal Cascades at the head of our cosy little valley. The Cascades are part of Freshwater Creek and is also where Cairns gets its Fresh Water from. Hmmm!
A something-something (?) orb spider.

The Cascade of Crystal Cascades. At least - the track only goes this far, so we presume this must be IT!

Joke glad to sit down after a moderate climb.
